App crashes constantly. Doesn’t work.
App crashes constantly. Doesn’t work.
Beware, this app is awful. It doesn’t work. I tried to get a refund and it says not eligible for refund. Complete waste of money.
This app used to be great and worked perfectly. But after the latest update it got stuck on loading and the app was unusable. I redownloaded and now it’s even worse. It’s a shame because I used to love this app
I don’t know what everyone else is going on about, this Siddur is easy to navigate and use and it works just as intended.
Now it’s almost impossible to find anything. The search doesn’t work and the app crashes every time I try to use the table of contents.
When launched, the app says “translation loading” for several minutes but never loads. It is unusable. I hope it gets fixed.
Please insert tachanun on a weekday shacharit and mincha. App goes from chazarat hashatz to kaddish.
I downloaded the app because I heard good things about it, but it literally doesn’t work- it won’t stop loading. I wish there was a way to get a refund.
Earlier I left a 1 star review because it stopped working. I’m leaving a 2 star review now because it started working again, but shouldn’t have stopped in the first place.
This app has a lot of really great features and capabilities but has constant bugs. It is slow to start/load. Every time I jump into the app it starts auto downloading something. Page flipping should be faster, etc. The UI needs and update and everything should be tighter overall. Great start but please update this app as I have been using it for years and it never actually got the proper face lift that it needs.
It crashes and does not recover. When it does ‘work’ the user experience is frustrating. It stalls in responding, giving no feedback that it is processing my touch. The highlight feature is annoying, the commentary pop up is distracting. I kept the app this long because of the content and hoped the app would improve. I admire ArtScroll, but they don’t do mobile apps. It is reliable to display appropriate content, but not reliable to work. That is why I rate it 1 star.
The app is totally unusable for me. It can't advance past the version 703 download screen. I'm using a iphone 12 mini. Please help!
When I open the app I just get a loading screen for forever
The app won’t load!
No yaaleh vyavo for Rosh Chodesh benching
Great app with all you need! Love having complete Siddur on my phone thanks to this awesome app :)
This Siddur app has it all, many format display options seamless scrolling and the option to remove the dedication banner from the top. It appears Artscroll care and want to better their product (as described in the earlier review). My only complaint would be the difficulty to scroll to the next page - you really need to scroll up hard/faster than other apps to change the prayer/page. Overall great app!
I think it’s very good and also that I got it free for Chanukah
Right out if the box tgis app has disappointed. I thought I’d test it out by request to see the bedtime Sheva It just spins and spins. No resilts.
Downloaded and I just get a buffering symbol. I leave it open and nothing ever loads. Waste of time and money to download. Not something I would expect such a reputable company to put out.
It’s about time the app is updated to use the full screen on iPhones. It’s been 3 plus years since the X was released but it’s still not optimized. Otherwise a very good app.
The screen shot does not show the dedication line that appears EVERY TIME you scroll to a new chapter/paragraph group. This is a huge distraction, and recently appeared during an “upgrade”. I urge you to remove this “feature” so the dedicator’s soul does not continue to get defaced as people stop praying to try to remove the dedication line at top of the page.
I’ll echo other sentiments that it continues to be laggy and slow, even on an iPhone X. I’ve been waiting for the promised Nusach Sefard version for years now. Update Elul 2020: well nusach sefard has finally been released, but only for the digital library! Please update the stand alone Siddur to include this!
The Wasserman’s are magnanimous philanthropists, but seeing their dedication pop up on every page is truly annoying and distracting when davening. Also the app is quite often slow and cumbersome.
Hello. Why do i have to continuously look at a dedication line on the top? If i paid money for the app, i should be able to permanently remove it. Also, the scrolling is slow and frustrating.
Everything works perfectly. Haven’t had any of the problems that others are writing about. Would REALLY like to change to nusach sefard.
Can’t imagine why they can’t make a nusach sefard siddur.
It’s only in Hebrew!
I bought this app because i wanted an app that was user friendly, nice graphics, fun to davin from and a pleasure to use. To my surprise this app has none of the above. If your looking for an app with the Siddur translation this is the app for you, but if your looking for a nice and easy app to use I don’t think this app is for you. It can really use an upgrade!!!
There is nothing in this app. When I open it, it shows pages for Maseches Kiddushin in the table of contents. If Iclick on one of the pages in the TOC, I just see a blank page with a forward slash mark at the top. No Siddur and no Maseches Kiddushin. Just a bunch of pages of nothing. I don't know why Kiddushin comes into this. The whole benefit of this app is having the Artscroll Siddur without the baggage of the Artscroll digital library app. Update February 2019. The Siddur now shows Chulin at the top. No siddur though. Still not useful.
I just downloaded the Siddur on my iPod but I don’t see the tehillim (mainly why I downloaded this) - on my iPhone it HAS the tehillim (same ArtScroll app), why is that so?
I was very interested in having a smart Siddur, but this app doesn’t do as it says it does. It doesn’t just show me what prayers I need for that time, I have to weed through the table of contents to find my desired prayer. Then, it is slow to change to that section, and scrolls very poorly. There should also be an option in setting to say I’m not in synagogue. I want my money back, or for these problems to be fixed.
No one is übergespitzt at ArtScroll it seems when it comes to this app: it relies on streaming. With other words, it’s unusable when your WiFi or phone connection isn’t super optimal. Want to daven with it? Good luck. It wants you to wait for every section to upload. It doesn’t cache either. This kind of user experience is just insulting. They must make this a downloadable app. No one can wait for streaming...
This app has not been the same since Apple released iOS 11. Please update the app! Otherwise it’s a great app!!
This is a great digital version of ArtScroll Siddur. It has a set of useful and very handy features which all readers of siddur will gladly appreciate. This is the best siddur app out there which is now always with you :)
